Heir Apparent to Empress Nicole the Great
Emperor Trevor Reynolds
20C Breenbriar Dr.,
Farmington, CT 06032
I have been a member of the Imperial Sovereign Court of All Connecticut for over 10 years. During that time I have been very active in the organization holding several positions; member of the Board of Directors (President, Treasurer and general member), Imperial Crown Prince in 2004 & 2012, Parliament representative for four years, Coronation Ball Chair for seven years and most recently Emperor 2013. I have seen the organization mature and grow, through good times and bad but always working towards a common goal of raising money and doing good for our community.
I also have strong ties to the LGBT community and the community at large. At my work I am a member of the LGBTA Colleague Resource Group leadership team as co-chair of the Transgendered Health Issues subgroup and represented them at the Out and Equal conference this year. Over the years I have been a supporter of the Hartford Gay and Lesbian Health Collective, True Colors, Our Companions, New Haven Community Center, Mr. Connecticut Leather, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, St Philip House, Connecticut Aids Resource Coalition, Connecticut Transadvocacy Coalition, AIDS Project New Haven, Northeast Ursamen, Rainbow Bowling League and many others.
Some of my greatest accomplishments during my tenure in the court system are:
1. The success of our annual event “Life's a drag...Let's do Brunch!” My partner, Morgana de Luxe and I first hosted the event 8 years ago and 30 people attended. The past several years it has been a sell out with a majority of the attendees being local community members.
2. I have accomplished much within my court and community over the past 10 plus years prior to being a Monarch. I used to joke that all I wanted to be was a Lord for life. Those experiences are what gave me the courage to become Emperor, knowing I had the backing of my court and community. I don't do this for the recognition I do it because I believe in doing good wherever I can. I thank my mother for instilling that value in me.
3. I had the honor of reigning with my partner, Michael who I also live with, work in the same company and commute together. If that doesn’t test a couple’s strength and commitment, I don’t know does!
It is a great honor to be a part of The Imperial Court Council and I thank The Queen Mother of the Americas, Empress Nicole the Great for giving me this opportunity. I look forward to serving her and the council during my tenure.
In Love, Honor and Service,
The Imperial Sovereign Court of All Connecticut
